We had a fantastic lineup of experts and home electrifiers share their insights about how you can begin (or continue) your home electrification journey. Electrifying our home appliances and transportation (and moving away from burning harmful fossil fuels) is an essential step to creating safer homes and healthier air, reducing the negative impacts of global warming in the process.

Our audacious goal is to have everyone who signed up for this event (or watches the recording) have a fully electrified home by the end of 2024…ourselves included! We very much want to support you on this journey so please check out the recording, slides, and resource list, and drop us a line if you have any questions.
Our experts shared how to save time and money as you electrify, while creating a healthier and safer home and planet. These experts included Diane Sweet of emeraldECO, James Tuleya of Home Energy Analytics (HEA), and Frank Vargas of the Building Decarbonization Coalition. Our home electrifiers (Jennifer Hennings, Nicole Davis, Ronen Vengosh, and Brian Kissel) shared their personal electrification experiences.
This event was created in collaboration with 350 Silicon Valley and their Menlo Park Climate Team, Peninsula Clean Energy, Menlo Spark, and was our 7th offering of the Menlo Park Community Collaboration Session series of discussions to address our response to a changing climate, with a focus on demonstrating solutions that we can implement today to create a brighter tomorrow for our children and future generations.
Everyone is welcome to attend, share ideas, and join these discussions about the future of our city. Any questions: Reach out to Nancy Larocca Hedley at nancylarocca@gmail.com.
